Welcome to this weeks Flow Feature! We hope you have all had a wonderful week and can hopefully get your hands on some of that stunning Capsule Jewellery through Flotique! This weeks Flow Feature is on 16 year old Ademir Dextre from Peru!
Why does Ademir love Florence Welch and her beautiful Machine? There truly are no words in any language that can adequately describe this woman, nor words to describe how wonderful life has been for Ademir, and every Flow along with him, since discovering Florence + The Machine. And of course discovering this band doesn’t just bring us music like we’ve never heard before, but to a whole community of beautiful fans, Flows whose lives have been changed like our own, a bonus that Ademir had not expected.
It was through Florence + The Machine that Ademir became more interested in music in general, especially Indie music. Ademir first found the band through MTV where he heard ‘Dog Days Are Over’ for the first
time. The feeling was unbelievable, the pace of the song, the drums, Florence’s voice. Even though he
was unsure of the message it didn’t take long for the song, and the rest of Lungs, to fill a void in his life that he had never known was empty.
For Ademir, the most influential part of Florence + The Machine has been the messages in every song. Each song brings a different type of energy, enough to get you through the day and forget whatever problems
have been troubling your mind. Florence Welch has the ability to take Ademir away from all the problems, sorrows and worries of his life, even if just for a few minutes. Songs like “Shake It Out’ and ‘Drumming
Song’ have held a particular power over Ademir with their mysterious ability to recharge his mind and soul.
Just recently Ademir was able to get a hold on a copy of MTV Unplugged, which was about as hard to track down as the other elusive Flows living in Peru. Little by little Ademir has been able to track down a number of Flows, many of which he found through his role as admin at Florence + The Machine Peru, whose goal is to continue to spread the music of Florence + The Machine as far as we can reach.
